A company started by Andrea Ridout in 1980 that originally sold furniture as well as hardware turned into a strictly hardware business. The selection expanded to include vintage door hardware, plumbing fittings, lighting, and millwork.
Their products are famous since they have had debuts in television programs and movies.
Inspired by customer's specific tastes in the old fashioned and antique hardware for their newly constructed homes, the company found partners who would produce the older designs to adapt to the new modern door constructions. Which is why their products are desired coast to coast.
